Artist, designer and craftsman Cynthia LaMaide is inspired to enhance the body with the cut and construction of her handmade one of a kind clothing.

With a keen knowledge of artisan techniques, she transforms luxury yarns and fibers in a multitude of ways by painting, weaving, knitting and felting to create the fabric that goes into each silhouette.

Her collections have been shown internationally in Paris and in New York.  

Cynthia has had the honor to be invited and to exhibit at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. and other fine art shows around the country.

She has designed unique character wardrobe while working as a costume designer on major motion pictures.

As a clothing designer and fiber artist in New York, Miami and Detroit she has the opportunity to create hand crafted clothing for women who recognize quality and seek out innovative and timeless art to wear.
